UGF Opens Registration for Two Veterans on Course Events
The Utah Golf Foundation (UGF), the charitable affiliate of the Utah Golf Association, opened registration for its first two 2017 Veterans on Course events. VOC, a program open to veterans of all ages and skill levels, was started by the UGF as a pilot program to provide instruction and playing opportunities to veterans free of charge. Each event consists of lessons from PGA Professionals, a nine-hole shotgun scramble tournament, and a social gathering with hors d’oevres and a guest speaker.
Proof of active or veteran status is required at all Veterans on Course events in the form of a military ID, driver’s license with military status, or Department of Defense Form 214.
2017 Kickoff at the PGA Superstore
